• Dear developers,

at first I want to thank you for this great, fast and easy plugin. During my last web analysis of some of my pages I experienced some issues with the permalinks.

In web analytics my posts/pages are in several cases listed twice. One version with trailing slash and one version without it. Example:

    https://magazine.bauerfeind.com/atlanta-track-club-bauerfeind-usa-announce-partnership/
    https://magazine.bauerfeind.com/atlanta-track-club-bauerfeind-usa-announce-partnership

Both of these exist as two different URLs as long as I have the plugin installed. This will lead to corrupt data in web analytics (as long as I don’t apply an appropriate filter) and the more critical point: It will have SEO issues regarding duplicate content.

I’m pretty sure this is more a feature than a bug, because bypassing the WordPress’ native redirecti reduces server load.

So my question is pretty simple: Is there any way for me to bring this trailing slash redirection back with a setting in the plugin or with a custom function?

    Cheers
    Norman
