Empty Sitemap on taxonomy-post_tag.xml

    Do you have any post tags at all? If not, simply remove that sitemap from the options on Settings > Reading.

    In fact, the taxonomy pages usually do not serve any great purpose as they only list posts. It’s the posts and pages where the content is so that is what the search spiders are interested in.

    It works. But I get another error on the post type sitemap, like example: mysite.co/sitemap-posttype-post.201704.xml. It happens after I use the total w3 cache plugin

    What is that error exactly? Can you load that particular sitemap in your browser at all or does show a white page?
