Hi @donalmccaffrey,
Thank you for your question.
I could confirm the issue on my test site therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.
Best regards,
Vinod Dalvi
Thanks Vinod,,, do you know if I will be notified via this post?
The issue is fixed in the latest version of Shapely theme here https://github.com/puikinsh/shapely which will be released soon in this WP.org theme repository.
Thanks very much Vinod for the information. Do you know does it automatically update or do I need to update the theme via my WP admin dashboard?
The theme does not automatically update. You will get notification about theme update in your site admin dashboard then you can update theme on clicking on displayed update link.
Hi Vinod
I’ve been away for a while so only getting back to this now. I am still using this thread because of the problem of the related post section not showing was not resolved by the update. Also, if you don’t mind I’ll mention here another issue which has arisen because of the update. I was using a plugin “WP Header image” to get specific header images on individual pages (plugin accessible on dashboard under settings). Since the update the header images are no longer visible and neither can I use the normal customizer header image to insert a generic header image. If you have any idea about what I can do to input some sort of header image I would be very grateful.
Thank you – the site is http://www.guided-mountain-walks.com

It is working fine for me using latest version 1.1.6 of theme.
Which version of theme are you using on your site?
Could you please temporary disable W3 Total Cache on your site so that i can troubleshoot it?
Also please create separate topics for each of your questions.
Hi Vinod
Apologizes for not getting back to you but I have been away for the last week. I have deactivated the W3 total cache. Thanks
Please update your theme to the theme latest version 1.1.7 and if it still doesn’t work then this can be child theme issue on your site so to confirm it just temporary use the Shapely theme instead of child theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your child theme issue.
Thanks Vinod. That worked great. I have one final issue regarding header images only appearing on posts pages but I will start a new thread for that.
Thanks again
