• Just installed the Zensor plugin to add workflow moderation to our blog. We had around 10 people posting on a regular basis, and I was looking for a way to review posts before releasing them to go live.

We uploaded the plugin to the site, then activated it. The plugin then took all posts and marked then all “awaiting moderation”. I went to the manage screen for Zensor and Bulk Approved all posts.

The server reported a database error, and now the WP-admin is disabled and the site does not display when you hit the URL. Very Scary!

Looking for any help or feedback on this… pretty please with sugar on top.

    Thanks WP World 🙂

This is resolved, and I’m leaving this thread here for any future users of the Zensor plug-in.

When we installed it there were around 400 posts to the blog. Lots of content. Although it appeared that the plugin crashed the database (see original post), after about 10 minutes the site resumed normal operations.

My guess was that it took the server a long time to process all of the database changes because of the amount of content. It pushed out a TON of email too… sending update info to all authors for every post they made.

During that process the admin panel and site was unresponsive, leading me to believe the database crashed.

But… all appears OK now. Case closed.
