Using SiteOrigin’s Pagebuilder and the associated widgets by SiteOrigin and other widget developers, provides my uses true page layout capabilities. Many of my uses come thinking they’ll need to have their sites done in Joomla to get sophisticated page designs. We show them pages done with Pagebuilder and they never give Joola another thought. My users prefer the backend of WordPress since it’s less complex than Joomla.
Management likes our use of Pagebuilder since we can create pages, and so can our users, that pull in just the needed set(s) of posts that in the past could only be done by creating a custom page template. What had taken one or more hours in the past can now be done, often in less than a minute. Now that’s a productivity gain. Lastly, if you start using Pagebuilder, check out Live Mode while editing, it gives a visual interface beside the box layout and lets you quickly zero in on where you want to make your next content change.
