    Hi,

Upon installation of the plugin from the repository, when I activate it shows the below error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘class’ (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or ‘{‘ or ‘$’ in /home/host/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/ucare-support-system/includes/Plugin.php on line 60

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    korntek

    Hi there

Did you download from GitHub or from WordPress directly ?
is this the first time you activate this plugin ?

Looking into the issue and will advise of outcome.

    thank you

Tested a clean install of the latest plugin version on a couple of instances without issues. Can you please check which version of PHP is installed on your server ? You can check that from your cPanel directly. Alternatively, there are free plugins you can install that can tell you which version of PHP you have.

    best regards

That’s great! Thank you for letting us know.

We will add an activation script to the next version which will notify users of the PHP version requirement in cases where the user’s site is on an older version.

thanks again for the feedback – if you have any more suggestions or experience any bugs please create a new ticket!

    Best regards
