    Hi,

could you please post your website URL so that we can run some tests on our end?

    Thank you,

I see you use Autoptimize on your blog. There are some settings that you need to customize in that plugin in order for the two to play nice together. Frank is usually quite responsive, you may want to ping him to see what needs to be done.

Let me know if that solves the problem.

hmmm, AO is not active for JS optimization, so that can’t be it (unless @scruffy1 disabled JS optimization after reading @coolmann’s comment) πŸ™‚

    No, nothing has been changed

I will contact Frank and see what he suggests

Ok, keep us posted. If that’s not what is causing the issue, we will run more tests and try to figure things out together πŸ˜‰

    It is I, Frank πŸ˜‰

It’s not that, as there’s no AO JS optimization happening.

    Hi,

I browsed around your website and ALL my pageviews were tracked as expected. Do you have any filters that might be affecting how the tracker is working?

    Jason

    (@scruffy1)

No filters other than for spam and firewall ( wordfence)

It is intermittent might work ok for a few days or weeks then just shows blank page, no obvious plugins having an effect

maybe i can give you admin access to see if you can spot anything ?

    thanks

    Hi @scruffy1

It’s WP dashboard (main page). Can you open WP dashboard -> Slimstat -> Access Log ? Do you see activities there (.../wp-admin/admin.php?page=slimview1) ?

Maybe, it’s trouble related to browser or plugin conflicts. Please install QM ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ ), it’s very good plugin for debugging. Do you see errors (in QM menu) when you open main dashboard page?

Could you please check for any JavaScript errors in your browser (when open dashboard)?

If you are unsure how to do so, you can find instructions here:

    Hi @scruffy1,

we can definitely take a look, however it looks to me like all the reports have data in them, including the chart. I would just wait for the issue to happen and then contact us again, so that we can investigate it.

Also, you may want to follow Sasa’s advice and test the query monitor plugin to see if you get any clues from it.

Sasa, thank you for helping with answering support requests, your contribution is very much appreciated πŸ™‚

    hi Jason

the visitor activity is the only one that stays empty.

we put the QM in and no real clues unless we are missing something, but so far today the activity has shown up, is it possible the data is set at 60 days fills up MYSQL and then the activity bit cannot load any more data ?

sure can wait for it to happen again and ask for help then πŸ™‚

the only plugin I have switched off today is wanggaurd as it is no longer connecting to their database and their website is no longer, so looking for viable replacement for that, not sure if that could have caused any conflicts ?

    thanks

I see. Could you take a look at your web server’s error log to see if the PHP script that is crunching the data is timing out for some reason?

    Thank you,
    Jason
