version 3.3.26 issue

    We have been using version 3.3.26 with polylang. I try to modify the front page from Appearance >>Customize after I hasn’t touched the site for a long time. The 8 options of customization were displayed for 2 seconds and then only 3 options left, which are Menus, Widgets and Additional CSS. I couldn’t get the option to customize the front page now. FYI:I have the functions.php modified to add an widget area above the featured pages. I also have class-fire-init.php modified to add fourth featured pages.

    I did upgraded the version 3.3.26 to the current version 3.5.12. The 8 customization options under Appearance >>Customize are correctly displayed. But the formats of my two added widgets were messed up. I had to restore the theme version back to 3.3.26.

    Please help me to be able to see the 8 customization options under Appearance >>Customize in 3.3.26 version.

    Hi,

    You have to be using current version which is 3.5.12 in order to be compatible with current WordPress version. If not, you will lose your customize options.

    There are many versions in between 3.3.26 to 3.5.12, with a lot of code difference, It’s not possible for the theme author to provide a fix which you can copy and paste.

    You will have to re-do your customization.
    Customization should be done in child theme and not modifying Customizr Theme.
