Depends on where the author decided to put the options. Is it under Settings or Tools?
Please list the specific plugin(s) where you can find the settings.
I’ve noticed that the options pages for Stray Random Quotes are partially missing; I can tweak general options, but the page allowing the addition of new quotes has gone AWOL.
I think these kinds of things were hanging on hooks which are no longer there. We’ll probably just have to wait for updated plug-ins.
Compatibility in general seems to be surprisingly good, by the way…at least in my experience.
I took a quick look at the plugin. It’s using add_management_page, so the “Quotes” menu should be under the Tools option.
However, because of the way he’s doing things, it might not work right and take you to the settings page instead. He’s not using unique ID’s in the right places.
2.7 RC1 fixed the problem. Some plugins are listed in the Dashboard drop down menu and others in Plugin Drop down menu and still others now listed in Settings drop down menu.
The nightly build I was using at the time didn’t include those.
