plugin installation error

That is not a fun experience. Does it happen when you try to install any plugin?

I do have to ask the question of whether or not you know how to FTP to your site? One other question that does come to mind also is: who is your host? I ask only because most hosting companies will provide some sort of cPanel where you could upload files/folders to the site.
