• When viewing my menu in Firefox, there is a navy blue border around each menu item when the mouse hovers over, however in Internet Explorer the border is not there. How can I make sure the border is present regardless of the browser?

Also, how can I make it so the current page that I’m on (home, forum, sitemap, etc) keeps the red background and navy blue border, even after the mouse scrolls off the link? Basically something that tells you what page you’re on at any given time…

    Thanks in advance!

  • It isn’t a different CSS for IE, it’s that IE displays CSS differently than Firefox – which is to say IE is not fully CSS2 compliant and requires hacks to accomplish many things FF, Safari, Opera do on their own. I can’t offer you a hack for your problem, but I would expect if you drop by the sitepoint forums CSS boards you’d get an answer pretty quick.
