[ Moderator note: moved to Fixing WordPress. ]

I tried to migrate from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. Maby it’s my falut that I totally failed but I’ve tried anything to fix this: reinstalled on cpanel several times, cleared cache, I even deleted my wordpress hosting for own domain subscription, deleted my spottingro.wordpress.com website. Now I lost all my work, money and I still get this error when I try to access my website (spotting.ro):

‘You can’t get there from here (site_id mismatch error). This happens when an external blog (a self-hosted blog using the Stats plugin) is pointed to WordPress.com by DNS. If you are trying to migrate away from WordPress.com, please update your DNS to point the domain to your own server. Otherwise please contact WordPress.com support and explain what you were trying to do, what steps you took, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. It’s probably Andy’s fault.’

I checked on whois.net and everything seems to be in order and pointing accordingly.
Wordpress friends and happiness engineers please save me…

Your domain seems to be working just fine for me. The error you’re quoting suggests that the domain is still pointing to WordPress.com for you, which will just be temporary.

When a domain is registered or altered, there is a process called propagation, where information about the domain name is passed to internet service providers all over the world. This process can take up to 72 hours (though usually much less). During that time, your domain may go to its old location, and you may also receive a warning message in your browser about “redirect errors.”

If you still have trouble viewing the site after 48 hours have passed, please try clearing your browser’s cache.

If that doesn’t work, try clearing your local DNS cache: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html
