WordPress customizer displays blank page

    Wordpress customizer does not work properly. It displays a blank page and the “Widget” tab does not work. Please find below the list of tests that i run:

    1-the same behavior on customized and standard theme.
    2-the problem faced on Firefox and works under Chrome.
    3-updating all plugins and themes don’t fix the issue.
    4-deactivate all plugins does not fix the issue.
    5-applying what is suggested on
    https://www.mhthemes.com/support/theme-customizer-not-working/ 6-increase the memory limit.

    System configuration:
    WordPress 4.7.4 Firefox 53.0 (64-bit)
    Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical-1.0
    mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.18, for Linux (x86_64)
    PHP 7.0.15-0
    ubuntu0.16.04.4
