    Yes, that functionality is called “Mega-Menu”. There are numerous plugins to add a mega menu to your menu system in WP.

    I remember i did try ubermenu for example and it either didnt work, or it made the original default menu disappear, i just know something was not ok with it. Yeah i forgot to add, the default menu should be preserved, and the theme im using supports only one menu. Thanks for the suggestion though

    Nevermind, i just checked it out in more detail and it seems i havent tried this before, this looks like the solution, thanks
