“Ghost” Users

    My site has been getting multiple instances where WordPress notifies me of a new user registration but neither Google Analytics nor Stat counter show any page views. Can you help me understand how that’s possible?

    Hi kenblair,

    to understand this a bit better: Do you see new users registered in the backend (Dashboard -> Users) and if my plugin is activated under “Pending”?

    I contacted my host Ipage who set up a captcha for me…problem solved…no more notifications have occurred since she did that…
