    Hey Guys

I am really interested in this plugin and it seems the best so far and I do not mind purchasing this for my client. Just 3 questions:

    1. Is it possible to have updates automatically sync between to sites after publishing instead of using the sync button?

    2. I run the client’s main and mobile site. I would like content to sync both ways. How would i be able to achieve this?

    3. I notice that the plugin only worked on posts and pages. How can i get it to work on custom post types like “Directory Listing” so that if a directory listing is created on the main it sync’s to mobile and the other way round?

Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance!

    Best Regards

    Lebo

    Hello @nightology,

Thank you for writing us! To answer your questions:

    1. Is it possible to have updates automatically sync between to sites after publishing instead of using the sync button?
    — Automatic syncing is not available at this time, though it is on our road map for future development.

    2. I run the client’s main and mobile site. I would like content to sync both ways. How would i be able to achieve this?
    — You can push content between two sites with the WPSiteSync plugin. Simply install WPSiteSync on both the Source and Target sites, configure and you’re good to go. Syncing with the WPSiteSync plugin can be from local to live, live to live or local to local. If you’d like to make syncing possible bidirectionally, (i.e. be able to Pull posts without having to log into the target site, or make syncs from live to local), we have the Pull extension to help with that.

    3. I notice that the plugin only worked on posts and pages. How can i get it to work on custom post types like “Directory Listing” so that if a directory listing is created on the main it sync’s to mobile and the other way round?
    — For syncing custom post types, we have the WPSiteSync for Custom Post Types extension. More info on this and our other extensions can be found through our site: http://wpsitesync.com/

I hope you find this information useful. Please let us know if you have other questions.

I’m going to mark this as resolved since these are sales/feature questions and not a bug report.

Thank you for your interest and we’ll keep you posted when the features are implemented.
