• I was interested in whether or not this would support ACF fields and read this topic https://wordpress.org/support/topic/advanced-translator-custom-fields/

I have not tried this plugin, but plan to, by questions is almost the reverse. Can I set it up in a way that editors are forced to go to each site in order to edit content.

Basically, I have several custom post types and an extremely complicated flexible content field for ACF and I don’t want the editors to be able to manage the content of other languages all from one page. …. more than likely this would crash the admin pages anyway.

  • Hi there,

yes, you can use the simple translator. Go to the MultilingualPress settings page (in the network admin) and untick the Advanced Translator checkbox, then save.

The Translation meta box now only allows to manage translation itself, not their individual content.

    Cheers,
    Thorsten
