    Please help me fix my blog. I had WordPress.com Stats 1.3.2 plugin installed already into my site (www.espedido.net). The plugin notified me thru plugins tab that it has a latest version (ver 1.3.4) up. I chose the option to update my plugin automatically. After it said it successfully updated and activated the stats plugin, I now have the following error on top of my admin pages and site pages:

    Warning: include_once(/f1/content/espedido/public/wp-content/plugins/stats/) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /f1/content/espedido/public/wp-settings.php on line 425

    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening '/f1/content/espedido/public/wp-content/plugins/stats/' for inclusion (include_path='.:/nfsn/apps/php5/lib/php/:/nfsn/apps/php/lib/php/') in /f1/content/espedido/public/wp-settings.php on line 425

    I tried to revert back to the old version of stats plugin but i’m still having the error. I deleted the stats plugin folder to deactivate it.

    I would like to use the plugin again. please help me solve this. i can get the errors back again if you need to see it on my site.

    my site is http://www.espedido.net and using neoclassical theme. WP version is 2.6.3 and other active plugins are adsense-manager and add-meta-tags-1.6. thanks

  • Hello lymdul,
    If you haven’t tried this already, download the new stats plugin from WordPress.org, then upload it via ftp and activate it. I’m guessing that something went wrong during the auto-update process that resulted in a missing or corrupted file.
