Images Have Gone 404

Hello,
Recently after upgrading WordPress on my website http://www.syedusman.com, all the images that I’ve uploaded through FTP are not found. The media links shows 404.
I checked the images, they are there in my FTP, but when I visit it through the browser, it says 404. Here are some of the links:

http://www.syedusman.com/gifs/ex.gifAll the above files are very much there in FTP, but clicking the above link results in a 404 page. Please help!

The image appears in the webpage, but not in the media link.
The gif images aren’t used anywhere in any webpage. They just are links which I use to forward to my friends on WhatsApp.
Please help.

The images appear only in the website. If I share the link somewhere, the images are not showing. They are just blank. Please suggest me something. Whenever I share the link on WhatsApp, FB, Google Plus etc, the image is not showing.
