Help Needed

    Hello,

    I have recently began to encounter a very annoying problem with my website. The site and dashboard will work intermittently but will stop working almost every five minutes. When the site or wp-admin area fails to load, it shows an error message ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

    I have read various bits of advice and have tried de-activating plugins, creating a new htaccess file using the permalink method and temporarily de-activating the theme to see if that is the problem. Nothing has worked.

    I am grateful for any advice.

    If your website is acoupleofadventurers.com I’d start from talking to your hosting company…

    I have and they fobbed me off saying it wasn’t a problem at their end. How can I know that it is?

    Well, if you haven’t done anything with your website before the issue appeared, then I’d say that the only remaining culprit when a website is acting like that – is hosting.
    After all, you can do a small test. There are free hosting companies that offer their subdomain if you don’t have your own. Use one of those and make an exact copy of your website there, and let it run. If it works ok (for free hosting) then you know who’s to blame.
