    It’s possible that this is a conflict with your theme or another plugin. Do you mind trying to deactivate other plugins and change to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen) in order to see if the issue persists?

    I have the similar problem at my website. After the most recent update the lightbox function is not working in new galleries. It still works as it did before the update in my old-posted galleries. But the newly created ones do not open in lightbox. It’s just like thumbnails photos that are not clickable.     I did not install any new plugins. Plus, the fact that the old galleries work excludes any possible conflict between plugins and/or theme. The lightbox feature stopped working after updating to Version: 1.6.0.

    Sorry to have lost you in this post. When visiting that link, I’m able to see all images (lovely images at that) and Lightbox works as expected. Do you mind confirming that you are still experiencing the issue? If so, please provide the details in a new support ticket. Thanks so much!

    I am sorry, for dropping this thread. I posted a new one here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/lightbox-doesnt-work-on-1-6-0/ and akyusa01 helped me to solve the problem.

    Yup, still not working. Seems to be a JS error when I look at the consol, and only started after the latest update

    Hi @clevitch,

    Could you please confirm when you edit the images that the URL field isn’t blank? To do this, edit the gallery and click the blue pencil icon to open the Edit Metadata pop up and tell me if the URL field is blank?

    If it’s blank, you can click the Media File button to automatically apply the URL to the original image and then click the green Save Metadata button to save the changes. In the top right-hand corner you can use the right/left arrows to navigate through the remaining images in the gallery repeating those same steps.
