    Hi,
The description field is grayed out after the page is loaded and I can not enter anything in the field. Any idea what could cause this and how to fix? I use Visual Composer but I did not add the shortcode in the Visual Composer box. I have uninstalled and reinstalled already and changed the theme with still no possibility to fill the description field with text.
    Thank you

Hi @griffonline can you post some screenshots of your page, and a link to the site if you are willing to. Are you seeing any errors in the developer console?

I don’t see in developer console
    The URL is http://vacc.org/wpDev/post-a-job/
This is a frustrating error I even tried to install on another site which I cloned from this one and it too has same problem; description not fillable.

    Thank you

@griffonline there is obviously some javascript or something that is greying out the description field. Can you try disabling your plugins and changing your theme.

Narrowed it down to the ThemeMakers Visual Content Composer plugin. Which I use for displaying news articles directly on the navigation. Hopefully I will find another plugin that will replace ThemeMakers Visual Content Composer. Thanks for the help.

Unless there is a way to change the description field in WP Job Manager to one using a different content editor box? Because I can’t seem to find a replacement plugin for ThemeMakers Visual COntent Composer. Another job board plugin description box looks like this: screen shot here http://prnt.sc/ev3w9s
perhaps can do the same thing so I would be able to use this WP Job Manager plugin?

    Thank you

@griffonline the best suggestion I can offer is to figure out what is causing the conflict between those two plugins and make the necessary modification to either of them so they place nice together. I’m not sure if that is something you can do with a CSS override or what since I’m not familiar with that plugin. Good luck!
