Connection error with Bucket Amazon

    Hi,

    When upgrading updraft plus to version 1.12.40 the connection to Amazon does not work. You receive the following error message:

    Test result for S3: Failure: We can not successfully access or create this bucket. Please check your
    Credentials, and if they are correct then try another bucket name (as some other S3 user may have already used your name).

    The error reported by S3 was: exception

    Hi,

    This means that module in your PHP install on your webserver which supports network connections does not support https.

    You will want to either talk to your web hosting provider to get that fixed, or to change the option in the ‘expert’ section at the bottom of the UD ‘Settings’ tab to turn off use of SSL (encryption).
