• Hi! I’m moving my site to a new domain bit by bit as its a huge site and I’m not an expert at this. We’ve got parts of it moved over… posts, photos. I now need to start on the plugins but I have many that of course have data with them, such as a download manager that also links to a folder of downloads. I’d like to be able to do these plugins one at a time. (I dont’ need all my current plugins on the new site) I know how to move the folders over, its the data I’m not trained in. Can’t seem to find a plugin yet that will let me do what I need. I did find one but its outdated and didnt work ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/export-plugins-and-templates/ )

    My main site is http://www.ourpeacefulplanet.com
Has a lot of special plugins with data.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

  • All those plugins would usually store their data into a database. Now you “just” need to find out which table is associated with a specific plugin and do export/import from the old to the new database. 🙂 Never done that myself, but I don’t see any other way.

Well that heads me in the right direction anyway. Thanks sinip. Maybe someone else will jump in if I can’t figure out quickly… which will probably be the case.
