remove “posted on” (date) “by” (author)

i want to remove this meta data under the page posts, but cant. I am using reach child theme.

i tried a meta plugin to remove but it only hides the date and author, and leaves “posted on” and “by”

please advise as to removal of date and author and the “posted on, by ” text. Thanks
