User based filter of facebook feed posts [help]
-
Hi there,
I sure hope I posted this in the proper section.
I need some help setting up our website in order to let users decide whích posts of a facebook feed we’ve installed (premium purchased plugin), so we can offer the service for our customers.
Side info:
– Enfold + Child theme (legal, purchased)
– Advance Custom Fields
– Custom Facebook Feed Pro + multifeed (legal, purchased)
– Latest WordPress of courseWe’ve been offering an ‘old’ interface based on custom coding for our customers in the Netherlands. We would like to expand to several foreign countries per request of a couple of customers.
I’ve been involved with WP webdesign for quite some time now, but all the coding is still a learn in process for me. We’d like to do this on our own, yet we seem to need some help. From what I’ve learned from SmashBalloon (custom facebook feed), it should be véry simple. Yet, they don’t want to provide coding for use to use. We’ve got one bit of code, but that’s not working.
So, let me first start of with the following:
My business partner wants to use the Enfold theme and thus the child-theme for custom coding. Is this not working properly ? Browsing the net learns that half the time custom css is not working or not working properly with the child-theme.All we want, is that our registered customers (members) can select whích posts they want to see from the custom facebook feed (again, CFF dev’s do not want to provide a working code, though we háve paid for the pro version).
What we would like to see, is that signed in customers can have a list of checkboxes in either the footer or their own dashboard and after hitting save, they can see the feed that matters to them.
Is there anyone here who could bear to help us out ? Via here, or Skype or ..
We are already two weeks behind schedule, we can’t actually wait much longer. Thanks in advance.
With regards,
Hapi
NetherlandsPS: the initial idea was to use the ACF-plugin with custom fields to choose from, but I’ve recently learned this does not work well (or in the words of a friend, not at all in combination with these two plugins).
