    I’ve got a load of pdfs on this page:
    https://www.cpbf.org.uk/freepress

    As you can see 3 of the pdfs do not have thumbnails. I’ve no idea why. Any way to force the plugin to re-create them?

    Actually, I think this could be because my host recently moved our site to a new server and perhaps hasn’t done there what they did previously to get thumbnails working on the old server… will report back…

    Yep, it was a server issue:

    the server had php-gmagick as well as php-imagick installed and php-gmagick
    was causing Apache to crash when files were uploaded
