• Hey guys, my site got some of its code hacked with some extremely irritating porn spam (additionally some dummy html/php files were also created). I was overzealous and accidentally deleted a few crucial files in the main directory of WordPress.

    I have copied the missing files back into the directory and yet all the comes up is a blank page with a template link: http://www.grindheadrecords.com/ausgrind/ – on top of that I am able to access my wp-admin.

    Any clues guys? I’m fairly sure my version was 2.5 – is there a way to check this? I have backed up my database and all the old wordpress files.

    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I can its something simple, I just havent been able to diagnose what!

  • I suggest install the latest wordpress 2.6.3

    copy first your database and config file, also any themes

    or is it the theme?

    I see

    <meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />
    <title>Template by Mike Lothar</title>

    is this familar to you? maybe try changing theme.
