Thanks for your answer.
But my Posts Page is empty when viewed in WordPress editor. I only have the ability, with UM tools on the right column to choose if the entire page is available to everyone, to logged-out users or to logged-in users.
I don’t see how to use the content restriction methods listed in the link you’ve provided on that particular page.
(and same goes to archives widget, but I am not sure I will use it).
Thanks for your help.

Hi @lomic,
Unfortunately, UM does not have the functionality to control the excerpts of page/posts content. You can try looking into customizing the plugin to achieve this.
Thanks.

Hello,
I don’t want to control excerpts, I just want them to be displayed accordingly to the UM privacy setting of their respective post.
Does it means that every site in the world using UM is not using “Posts Page” which is a basic feature of WordPress ? I find it really surprising.
Should I make a custom post page with a call to latests posts inside [um_loggedin] and another one inside [um_loggedout] ? Which would be rather weird because the timeline would be messed up. Or two columns, one which would be empty if you are not logged in?
A messy workaround in my opinion :-/

Ok I figured out how to display excerpts of posts both private and public whithout displaying too much of the private ones : put the “More” tag in the right spot and it is ok 🙂
Sorry for bothering you with a dumb question 😉
