    Hi,

my web host indicated that this plugin (v 2.6.0) is making a lot of requests back for updates. In the past 24 hours, it has been several hundred. I went to deactivate the plugin and each time I did so, it would become active again. I then tried to do a Reset and disabled all the options and hit Save. Again, the settings didn’t take. I had to FTP and rename the folder.

Any idea what might be going on? I do like the plug-in.

Hi, if you’re referring to plugin update checks, then that’s part of WordPress’ core, not SLB itself. It may be that there was a connectivity issue, so WordPress attempted to check for updates repeatedly until it was successful.

A connectivity issue may also explain why the plugin would not be deactivated, for example, if the request never made it fully to your site’s server or database.

In any case, I would recommend deleting the SLB’s folder entirely and reinstalling SLB from your site’s admin to ensure you are using the latest code.
