• So I have been trying to add google adsense verification code to my website for about a week now. I keep on getting denied for the same reason. Which is:

    Issues:

Unable to review your site: While reviewing……we found that your site was down or unavailable. If you applied through an AdSense host partner, such as YouTube or Blogger, your hosted site was not available or not found (removed) at the time of the review.

Im using bluehost as my host and wordpress through that. I have looked on my google search console. It fetches and renders like it should with the exception of this:

Googlebot couldn’t get all resources for this page. Here’s a list:
    URL Type Reason Severity
    1. https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js Script Blocked Low robots.txt
    2. https://graph.facebook.com/?id=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lckillian.com%2F&callback=a2a.counters.facebook.cb1 Script Blocked Low robots.txt

The text code blocking these are (in order)
    1. User-Agent: *
    Allow: /ads/preferences/
    Allow: /gpt/
    Disallow: /
    Noindex: /

    and

    2. User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

I have looked everywhere for these codes on my site and cannot find them, page source, file manager, and wordpress editor for Omega theme. I have my own robots.txt that I made my self but they are completely different than these codes. I have read a lot of other people having the same problem, but the only solution realistically being offered is to use the official adsense plug in, which is no longer useable.

  • Have you tried switching to some standard theme, like “twentysixteen” and trying again? Just to exclude your theme as a source of problem.
