I’m trying to find a way to add the file date to the template so I can create a list of downloads and show the file date for each download on the list.

To display any other data than the once our plugin offers you will need to customize the templates. You can learn more about it at

Hello. I believe the question wasn’t how to customize the template but how to insert download date in them. I would also like to know that.

I would also like to include the post_date or file_date in the template.
I imagine it’s something like this:
<?php $dlm_download->the_post_date(); ?>

That comes out blank unfortunately.
