I keep getting redirected to old WP…

Hello,

Please, help. 😀 So, I signed up with BlueHost and I installed WordPress.org. I have the same domain name on my new WordPress.org site as I do on my old WordPress.com site. When I click the WP Admin page, I keep getting redirected to the WP Admin page on my old website. I can’t access my new website anyway and I can’t move forward with setting it up. Whenever I click, for example, http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin, I get redirected to my old WP admin page.
Any ideas?

How did you move your site from wordpress.com to your new hosting?

Looks like that old url structure might have remained in the database…

I just signed up for BlueHost, then I entered the domain name, and then installed WordPress. That’s all I did. This whole thing was really confusing to me, but I followed guidelines strictly and I don’t know where I screwed up.

So basically Bluehost moved your site from wordpress.com to http://www.ourmovielife.com if I understood you correctly?
And yes http://www.ourmovielife.com/wp-admin redirects back to https://ourmovielife.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fourmovielife.wordpress.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Before someone else pops up with something useful, I’d contact Bluehost’s support and ask them for help, provided that they did the transfer…

I think BlueHost is just redirecting my new website to http://www.ourmovielife.com, but the old version. I did some reseach and I think I need to change the name servers.

One way or another, the best bet is to contact Bluehost’s support. You’ll save a lot of time compared to looking for solution yourself.
