Custom Loop for Index.php with Category List

    Hello all,

    It has been so long since i have been back to these forums! I am writing today, because I am trying to create a custom loop for my index.php I want to list categories and then list the titles of the most recent post in each category. Like so:

    Category #1
    title 1
    title 2
    title 3

    Category #2
    title 1
    title 2
    title 3

    Category #3
    title 1
    title 2
    title 3

    I am assuming that multiple loops might be needed? Can some one point me in the right direction?
