AWS S3 errors on region

This was not obvious in the AWS dashboard. I was getting a curl error #6:

CURLE_COULDNT_RESOLVE_HOST (6)
Couldn't resolve host. The given remote host was not resolved. 

It was caused by the wrong region being entered into the Xcloner settings for AWS Region.
I entered “US Standard” because that’s my region I selected and in the properties for my bucket that is what it shows. But it doesn’t work. After logging into my S3 account I noticed this in the URL: home?region=us-east-1

So I entered “us-east-1” as the region and it worked. No idea how I would have found that out through the S3 dashboard.
