Making sidebar location specific to categories?

On my website, I use categories to separate my blog into three separate blogs. I know that I can use GeneratePress to set different sidebar locations depending on whether something is a page or a post. Is there a way to choose which sidebar show depending on the post category, either using generate press premium or CSS? or will I just need to manually set every time I create a new post?

Ultimately, I would like “for readers” posts to use the right sidebar, and “for writers” to use the left sidebar.
