duplicated image using featured image

    Hi,

    Sorry for maybe a stupid question, but is-it normal that using a nextgen image as a featured image in an article, this image is duplicated in the wordpress media ?

    What is this for ?

    If I’m using gallery is to regroup my pictures not to have duplicated images everywhere.

    @catheg – Yes, this is correct. NextGEN Gallery will copy the image from our library into the WordPress Media Library if it is used as a featured image to insure it remains available going forward.
