I am having a similar problem.
Additionally, it won’t let me delete a blocked IP in order to re-add it or if I have made a mistake.
The IP able to log in when it should be blocked is 220.227.234.129

I have the new version but it still doesn’t block some ip in blocked range, e.g. 203.255.190.41
I’m curious whether people are talking about hits or login attempts.

Continuous brute-force login attempts, from supposedly blocked ip addresses (using Loginizer, which I don’t think has any connection to ‘hits’)
what code is returned with the attempts: 200, 403 … ?

This is about the Loginizer plugin, there are no codes returned, just notification of repeated login attempts from particular ip addresses.
right. loginyzer comes default with a server I use. every server, that I know of, has an access log and an error log that can be looked at. I’d be curious as to what’s in them. No plugin, or firewall, can stop any person or bot from requesting (hit) thewebsite/wp-login.php
Loginizer cannot stop a request from happening.
It will however, stop the attack.

Sorry, I’m confused, what is the point of having a ‘Blacklist IP’ setting if that IP is still able to try to log in?
hits, attempts, is not access, logins
