Theme approval and a little help please

    Hi,

    We´re waiting for our theme approval – though this seems to take a while? How long does it usually take?
    The thing is that we want to use an excisting template (in this case, Pink tickled) and redesign it to our own. Thus we don´t want to copy/steal it in any way, just use it as a good start-template (since we are new to blog design.)
    The only thing we changed before we sent in our theme for approval was the name I believe. Maybe this was wrong? We are under a tight schedule and are thankful for any help!
    Is there some other way to use a template (CSS) that already excists and then redesign it? I´m really confused right now..

    Hey blomma,

    From my experience theme reviewing can take even up to two weeks. I know it’s annoying, especially when you updated a buggy theme and people keep downloading the version that contains bugs.

    If you want to use an existing theme in your website and modify it, go ahead and do so, as long as you keep referring links to the original author.
    I don’t really understand why did you upload it to here? You need a theme to be reviewed and approved only when you want to publish a new theme that you created for everybody to download, not when you want to use it for you site.
