Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
It seems that some other JavaScript functions are not working properly here. In the JS error log console in the browser, I can see references to files by the Jetpack plugin.
Could you therefore maybe try again after temporarily deactivating this and/or other plugins?

Thanks for your fast answer! 🙂
I deactivated jetpack and several other plugins. I emptied the cache after every deactivation but it doesnt work :/
at the moment jetpack is deactivated and the trouble console is showing just that tablepress error and some problems in my wp-includes folder :/
sorry for that annoying thing and thanks for your help.

holy moly… i just discovered another problem! 🙁
it doesnt belong to tablepress, but maybe to the whole javascript-thing:
i cannot search in my media library. it always shows “no results”. but i can scroll through them.
do you have any idea what this could be? maybe this is the problem :/
thanks so much!
marian
Hi,
the critical error is that
Uncaught ReferenceError: module is not defined
but I have no clue where that is coming from. This should be a browser JS function from what I know, so maybe some other JS file on the site is overwriting it.
I can imagine that something similar happens in the media library.
You will therefore have to continue deactivating plugins, or maybe check if this happens with a WordPress default theme.

thanks again.
since all the other plugins based on JS aren’t working too I just wrote the developers of the theme. they have to check this, because with the former theme tablepress just looks like I love it! 🙂
keep doing this great work 🙂
thanks so much fpr your help.

Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 I hope that you can find the cause for this!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
Hi @tobiasbg
I am getting the following message when I want to save one of my tables
“AJAX call failed: error – Not Found. Try again while holding down the “Shift” key.”
It only happens to me with a single table, not with all
Hi @jacessario,
this is a server issue, please see e.g. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/saving-failed-ajax-call-failed-error-not-found-try-again-while-holding-down/

P.S.: Next time, please don’t just write inside an existing thread, but open a new one. Thanks!
