Hello,
You can clear the entries in the audit log by following the below procedure:
1. Navigate to the plugin’s settings
2. Click on the Audit Log tab
3. In the Security Alerts Pruning select Keep up to and set the value to 1.
4. Save the settings and click Run Manually, which is found under the option you have configured in the steps above.
This should clear your log file. Please do not forget to set back the value to a larger number, else the log file will always contain one alert. You can read more about these options here: https://www.wpsecurityauditlog.com/wordpress-user-monitoring-plugin-documentation/faq-how-to-prune-the-security-alerts/
As regards your database question; the wsal_metadata table contains the meta data of the audit trail. You can read more about the plugin’s database setup in the plugin’s database documentation.
While I trust the above answers all your emails, do not hesitate to get back in touch in case of any further queries.
