Need help with “pages”

    Is it possible to incorporate into my hosted (BlueHost) WordPress blog an HTML page I built?

    I would like this page to act as the “front page” of the blog with news items in summary, with links directly to the individual posts – bypassing as it were the blog’s “home” page.

    I am running WP 2.6 using The Daily Press theme by Blog Oh Blog.

    I appreciate any guidance.
