    Hi,

    today after the backup was completed (I can see it via FTP), the log shows these errors:

    [04-Mar-2017 18:22:16] ERROR: Dropbox API: (7) Failed to connect to api.dropboxapi.com port 443: Connection timed out
    [04-Mar-2017 18:22:17] 2. Try to send backup file to Dropbox …

    [04-Mar-2017 18:22:17] Uploading to Dropbox …
    [04-Mar-2017 18:27:21] ERROR: Dropbox API: (55) SSL_write() returned SYSCALL, errno = 32
    [04-Mar-2017 18:27:22] 3. Try to send backup file to Dropbox …
    [04-Mar-2017 18:27:23] Authenticated with Dropbox of user: [account-name]
    [04-Mar-2017 18:27:23] Uploading to Dropbox …
    [04-Mar-2017 18:27:44] ERROR: Dropbox API: (7) Failed to connect to content.dropboxapi.com port 443: Connection timed out
    [04-Mar-2017 18:27:45] ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!

    Is it possible to manually retry to send it to Dropbox?
    If not, may I copy the backup archive from the downloaded version, or will that cause any issue with BackWPup?

    Thank you.

    Hi @webby1973, this sounds like an issue with your host. Can you ask them if they have a firewall blocking outgoing connections? If so, ask them to unblock content.dropboxapi.com on port 443. This is the URL for uploading your backups to Dropbox.

    Hello, with BackWPup 3.4.1 and WordPress 4.8 it’s working again.
    I don’t know if my hoster changed anything…
