Dashboard doesnt show them/plugins updates in wordpress 4.3

I suspect because most of the updates you’re referring to require a later version of WordPress.

We’re on 4.7.2 now. 😉

If you upgrade to the latest version of WordPress, you’ll probably start to see updates again.

If you aren’t able to upgrade WordPress from Dashboard > Updates in your site’s Dashboard, try a manual update: https://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended
