Naming section landmarks

    My theme (Canvas by Woo) uses <section> tags. My accessiblity-checker-software wants me to name these sections. In the Accessibilities section of WP Accessibility, I checked “Add landmark roles to HTML5 structural elements” and added the word #section to the “ID for complementary role” field. Yet, I still do not have labels on my section tags. Please advise. Thank you.

    Adding landmark roles won’t have any impact on your section elements. A section should be named uniquely according to what is in that section, and this can’t be done automatically. You will need to modify the theme to accomplish this.
