Plugins not showing in admin after upload

    My blog is hosted on a hostgator account

    no problems at all installing it – version 2.6.2

    Uploaded 16 plugins then verified that they were in the remote location by viewing them in my FTP program but only 3 of them are visible when I log into my admin area of WP

    Any suggestions
