[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Possible to remove wp_syntax?

Is it possible to remove the wp_syntax code that gets thrown in? The gallery is wrapped in a bunch of extra divs (div class =”wp_syntax” and div class =”code” and a pre tag) that I don’t want in my code, it’s effecting the layout of the gallery (using the simpleviewer plugin with it). I can’t find this code anywhere in the plugin directory, i think i’ve searched every file.
