If you type the complete file URL into your webbrowser prior to importing it, can you view/download the file?
Anymore thoughts on this. The import seems split the url where the forward slashes are.
Sorry for the delay on this.
Could you show me a screenshot of the CSV and also a screenshot of the field mapping?
I’ve actually been trying to get this import to work for 6 weeks. Can someone actually say that they have successfully imported a digital download product, which imports the featured image and download file successfully?
I have made sure my csv has quotation marks, I have tried using featured image and download file with absolute paths, just folder names with and without http://, with files stored on local and external servers.
Either confirm this is a bug or if anybody has managed to import a digital product. Because this has never worked I’m not sure of the process of what happens to the files on import. Do the files get transferred to the uploads folder or do they stay in the folder where they are stored before the import procedure. The instructions are not clear.
This has to work for me as I have over 2500 products to import.
Could you please go ahead and and send us a copy of the CSV file and admin access to your site through our main, private support channel? That will be the easiest way for us to help track this down for you.
