I tested on the last WP version and it works
Very interesting plugin. What would be really interesting should be to be able to select specific administrators.
Usually i give admin acces to some clients because they need to edit the website menu or use the widgets. If with your plugin i give them editor role, even if I add menu section to the menu they can’t see it.
If I give them the admin status, the problem is that also my account is “limited” with your plugin, so i’m limited. That’s why the best thing would be to be able to define which admin users should have the plugin activated…
It’s a suggestion 😉 thanks
Thanks for the comments and the plugin is still fully alive. It is meant to be something that my team and I put together in order to make the transition from our in-house CMS to WordPress easier on our clients. Most clients found it daunting to administer a WordPress project, but also I didn’t like the idea of limiting them to an editor role. I did like the fact that the editor login stopped them from making potentially harmful changes hence the creation of A Simple Backend and releasing onto WordPress.org for others. I’ll take your ideas under consideration and note the plugin will be going for several years as it is also my way of giving back to the open source community.
