Author & Date on Comic entry

    Hello,

    I am running into a bit of an issue with getting the comic blog post to show the author and date on an entry. I am using the Generatepress theme but it’s unclear to me how either comic easel or generatepress is adding the name and date info. It shows up fine on the standard blog entries, but not so much on the comic post on either the main page or the individual entry.

    Is there a short code I should be using?

    Hi, sorry for the late reply. In case you haven’t fixed it yourself yet:

    ComicPress doesn’t meddle with the blog post settings, afaik, so I’m guessing it’s the theme treating custom post types like ‘comics’ differently. I’ve only had a brief glimpse at generatepress’ function.php and content-single.php just now (and didn’t find anything about that), but if that problem is still on, I can have a closer look. Alternately, you could ask in the theme’s forum if anybody else had a similar issue with custom posts.
